Augmented Reality

Augmented reality allows a person to add another layer to an existing image. To put this into perspecitve, imagine holding your phone over a poster that is on the wall as if you were going to take snap a photo of that poster. Once you do that then instantly a video starts playing that offers you additional information about what is on that poster. It is very magical!!! I love it = )

One of my favorite technology tools is SoundGecko which allows you to turn your favorite websites, blogs and documents into audio. I have truly enjoyed this program and I am sure you and your students will as well.
There are so many great uses for SoundGecko in the classroom. It is a great way to differentiate learning in your classroom and meet the needs of all your learners.
It is FREE!!
You download the app on your mobile device.
