Dippity...Interactive Timeline

Check out this really neat interactive free digital timeline website.  Users can create, share, embed and collaborate on interactive, visually engaging timelines that integrate video, audio, images, text, links, social media, location and timestamps.

Timelines can be an excellent way to add features to a multimedia story, as long as there’s an interesting time element.
This site is are also good for multimedia journalism classes, as using them can force students to think chronologically about a story outside the narrative writing process

AutoRap App

I am loving AutoRap!! I have used it for many things, but I am now using it for vocabulary. It is a great way for students to practice and review their vocabulary words. Your students will also love to hear their teacher rap = )

Check it out!

The app lets users talk into the app and then maps their words to the beats of different songs, creating a syncopated stream of lyrics that repeat and stutter. The app also latches on to phrases and words and turns them into musical auto-tuned hooks for the intro and chorus. You can rap to a list of generic beats or there’s a library of premium tunes that you can rap over. It is available for Apple and Android products.

Mastery Connect reaches out to users to get connected, socially!
by Kleinspiration

Preparing for 'back to school' time is an exciting part of the year.  Not only are we organizing our space, but we are also beginning to design our curriculum.  Much of this process involves getting acclimated to new tech tools we may have inherited over the summer.  While some of us open a new gadget, others may practice a new web tool.  If you haven't checked out MasteryConnect as a new web tool, I highly recommend exploring the potential this site has to offer.

Great blog from Kleinspiration

QR Code Love

I love QR codes as they are amazing in what you as an educator can use them for in the classroom.

I also love QR Voice, but I was hoping I could find something that I could use that would allow me more than 100 characters. I found one, but it was blocked here so I was on the look out for something that would work. I stumbled across a site that would allow me to record my voice for as long as I need to and when you save it gives you a link. I think took that link and put it into a QR code maker and BAM..I got what I wanted.

Here is the site I use: http://vocaroo.com/

Here are some great resources for QR codes in the classroom:

Hi everyone! I have decided that I should start blogging as it seems to be pretty popular. I have been sucked in as I love going to and reading others blogs.

I want to begin by offering a freebie to everyone. On the link provided I have instructions on inserting the cube into ActivInspire, but please NOTE that you DO NOT have to have ActivInspire to use these on your computer. All you need is Adobe Flash =)

I hope you enjoy these and let me know if you have any questions.

Make sure to stop by my Teachers Pay Teachers Store for some freebies. I will continue to add some goodies.
